I’m internationalists and I do not like boundaries and barriers. I’m
anti-fascists, of course!
I’m against all oppression because we do not tolerate the strong who crush the weak.
I come from graffiti, from “tagging” forever.
Thanks to the writing today there is street art, but my aesthetic roots are also found in South American muralism and in underground and countercultural graphics.
Street art for me is the new public art. After decades in which art is perched in galleries and more and more exclusive events, with increasingly cryptic codes, art is again horizontal, occupying a space dominated by advertising so far, art is back on the street.
It’s an important value of urban art. The participation of the neighbors who welcome the work may be in the decision-making phase, in the design or in the realization of the mural. This makes street art different from the art of the past, when the client came from the elite.
