NSN was born in the province of Naples in 1997 when I was a young boy passionate about hip-hop culture. It was the name of the crew I formed with my cousin to create our first graffiti together, and later another companion joined us. After several years and diverse experiences, NSN997 comes back to life in Madrid with the desire to do more and more.

Over the years, NSN997 has created participatory works and workshops in schools and public events. Initially, one of us moved to Barcelona and eventually decided to leave the project. In 2022, my cousin also distanced himself from NSN997, turning it into a more personal project but still preserving the ideas and intentions we created together.

POSITIVE PATTERN is the main series created collectively. Figurative patterns representing a positive and cohesive society. In addition to collaborations, these patterns have also been developed in a participatory way, using methods such as the AVATAR KIT.

Collaboration, unity, and encounters remain at the center of my studies. Black and white figures meet, exchange symbols and elements, greet, and embrace. The black and white, as usual, is symbolic, representing opposites. The gold yellow color emphasizes the value and beauty of sharing, mixing, and encountering.

I take care of my family, cook, and perform other household tasks. The rest of my time is dedicated to drawing representations of society as plurality, seeking to create a discourse on a more equitable economy, valuing sharing and common goods. Primarily, I strive to transform these drawings onto walls because I believe that street art has intrinsic value as public art.
